Against The Wind Images make a Splash in JPG digital magazine!
JPG is for people who love image-making without attitude. It's about the kind of photography you get when you love the moment more than the camera. It's for photographers who, like us, have found themselves sharing their work online, and would love to see that work in print.
Recently three of my images have been getting some attention from this worldwide site that allows photographers to showcase their best work internationaly. It's rewarding to see how people all over the world react and are drawn to an image you have created. View my images on JPEG's Against The Wind Images' activity page, JPG Magazine Favorites

Sgt. Pepper
The Long and Winding Road leads to Sun Life Stadium tonight where Sir Paul and his Band On The Run will bring back memories of Yesterday.
He's been away so long he'll hardly know the place. Rocky Racoon, the girl named Magill (but everyone knew her as Clancy) and The Fool On The Hill, will Twist and Shout while his Guitar Gently Weeps and three generations of DeCastro's,including little Camilla, sing Yellow Submarine, Wanna Hold Your Hand and try to Let It Be. We still Love him When he's 67. Now that's staying power!
And In The End, the Love You Take is Equal to the Love You Make. "So let me introduce to you, the one and only Billy Shears, Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band!"
Thank you Paul for 50 years of great music! Imagine

Cowgirl In The Sand

Hello cowgirl in the sand. Is this place at your command? Can I stay here for a while? Can I see your sweet, sweet smile? Old enough now to know your name, when so many love you, is it the same?

The Key

This weekend, someone walked ito my life again.
Not because he had to,
he did.
Not because of what I've done,
I have.
Not because he owed it to me
he does.
Thirty four years ago two boys dribbled their way into my life.
Together we did great things, among them was to forge a friendship.
Two days ago, two men came back.
Not because they had to,
because they wanted to.
"The key to a peron's heart is an unexpected gift,
at an unexpected time." William Forrester
If you think basketball is about dribbling,
you're wrong.
If you think sports is about winning,
you're wrong.
If you haven't experienced the movie, Finding Forrester,
experience it.
For Willie and Edwin,
who have taught me so much,
and continue to do so.
Not because he had to,
he did.

I have.
Not because he owed it to me
he does.

September 11, 2001 Never Forget

All Gave Some,
Some Gave All.
Some Gave All.
We Will Never Forget
One Tin Soldier (The Legend of Billy Jack)
by Lambert-Potter, sung by Coven
Listen, children, to a story
That was written long ago,
'Bout a kingdom on a mountain
And the valley-folk below.
On the mountain was a treasure
Buried deep beneath the stone,
And the valley-people swore
They'd have it for their very own.
Go ahead and hate your neighbor,
Go ahead and cheat a friend.
Do it in the name of Heaven,
You can justify it in the end.
There won't be any trumpets blowing
Come the judgement day,
On the bloody morning after....
One tin soldier rides away.
So the people of the valley
Sent a message up the hill,
Asking for the buried treasure,
Tons of gold for which they'd kill.
Came an answer from the kingdom,
"With our brothers we will share
All the secrets of our mountain,
All the riches buried there."
Go ahead and hate your neighbor,
Go ahead and cheat a friend.
Do it in the name of Heaven,
You can justify it in the end.
There won't be any trumpets blowing
Come the judgement day,
On the bloody morning after....
One tin soldier rides away.
Now the valley cried with anger,
"Mount your horses! Draw your sword!"
And they killed the mountain-people,
So they won their just reward.
Now they stood beside the treasure,
On the mountain, dark and red.
Turned the stone and looked beneath it...
"Peace on Earth" was all it said.
Go ahead and hate your neighbor,
Go ahead and cheat a friend.
Do it in the name of Heaven,
You can justify it in the end.
There won't be any trumpets blowing
Come the judgement day,
On the bloody morning after....
One tin soldier rides away.
Go ahead and hate your neighbor,
Go ahead and cheat a friend.
Do it in the name of Heaven,
You can justify it in the end.
There won't be any trumpets blowing
Come the judgement day,
On the bloody morning after....

They say it's your Birthday, Happy Birthday to you!
Memories of a Life through the songs of my life.
"It was the third of September, a day I'll always remember."
The Temptations
"I'm in the middle, the middle of life. I'm a boy and I'm a man, I'm eighteen and I like it!"
Alice Cooper
"4 and 20 years ago, I came into this world, the son of a woman and a man who lived in strife. He was ired of being bored, and he wasn't into selling door to door, and he worked like the devil to be more."
Neil Young
"Mother mother ocean, I have heard your call. Wanted to sail upon your waters since I weas three years old. I made enough money to buy Miami and I pissed it away so fast, never meant to last, it's never meant to last. There's nothing to plunder the cannons don't thunder, I'm an over 40 victim of fate. Arriving too late, arriving too late."
Jimmy Buffet
I wonder why no one's ever written a song about being 55?
"Will you still need me, will you still feed me, when I'm 64?
The Beatles
