The Great Egret, symbol of the National Audubon Society displays its spectacular plummage in the corkscrew Swamp and Sanctuary, located outside of Naples, Florida.
Hunted to near extinction in the 1900's to supply the demands of women's fashion, the Great Egret remains endangered to to encroaching land development in South Florida.
